  I have shopped at Home Depot for years . I have spent a lot of money at home depot, but no more. We bought a mailbox for almost $100.00 and asked for our military discount. The clerk had already finished the sale so she said she would have to make a return and do it over. We said ok and she gave us a store card for the returning of crediting our charge card that we had used. I told her I wanted my charge card to be credited and to recharge it. She said it had to be a store card she could not and would not take it off my charge. Now if I want to return it for any reason I have to take a store card. We never left the counter with the merchandise or the receipt! I think this was so unfair!! Beware of this practice as you might get stuck with something you don't want! I Hate having to carry another card!!!

  The store personal are very helpful. If one doesn't know something they find out or get someone who knows. I always know I can find what I need here. If they don't have it on hand they order it or they can check with other Home Depot stores and have it shipped to you.
